Separation Agreements
For Peace Of Mind

You have enough to deal with when going through a separation.

Find peace of mind with an experienced advocate on your side to sweat the details so you can focus on what matters to you.

About Kevin

I bring 15 years of experience exclusively devoted to family law. I’ve also been there.

I am proud to help clients negotiate and litigate to obtain favourable results when they are separating, seeking custody and access for their children, dividing property and applying for child support and spousal support. I know when to settle, mediate or argue a case at trial at all levels in British Columbia. Every case requires careful decision-making to get the best results and it takes long hours, determination and tenacity to succeed. I enjoy helping clients navigate the often emotionally charged issues in family law.

Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than a happy client.

How It Works

Your initial consultation is free of charge. We will review your situation and begin to evaluate next steps and options for resolution including negotiated settlement, litigation and mediation. We will discuss required information, and clients can minimize time and fees by preparing and relevant materials listed when booking online. (We’ll also send you an email reminder!)

If you decide to go ahead, we will proceed with a retainer agreement.  Retainer deposits are kept in trust and cannot be used by the family lawyer until work is done and a bill is sent. Ongoing communication is a top priority – we will work together to secure the best possible outcome.

Separation Agreement Fees

Property division, support and custody arrangements are some of the most important financial decisions you will ever make. An outside perspective can help keep all parties focused and help you make smart choices for your family’s security and future.

We are committed to results that respect your wallet. We start all client relationships with a frank discussion about money, goals and expectations – ensuring we are aligned on what’s needed to get what you want. We offer flexible payment arrangements and a free initial consultation so there are no surprises whatever your objectives.
